Hair: Short and prematurely gray.
Appearance: Tends to wear leather jackets with jeans, and sunglasses to obscure his eyes. When he's not in action (chasing a culprit or fighting), he's pretty languid, and shows barely any emotion.
Supernatural Type?: NONE. Jack is completely mortal. Not that he's oblivious to what's around him, but...
Public Knowledge: Jack is one of the local cops, and has been for awhile. He probably could've risen in the ranks by now if he actually cared. He exchanges information with Croix (his half-brother) and Marcel, and has the "odd" hobby of practicing with giant swords. For fun, of course.

Build: Wiry, with a runner's build
Apparent Age: 36
Eye Color: Dark brown
Hair: Prematurely white, and haphazardly cut. Has a goatee and a starting beard he's inordinately proud of.
Appearance: Wears easy-to-move-in clothing, and has a fondness for round sunglasses and corduroy jackets. Croix has an earring that looks like a key with flames along its edge. Smokes a lot, and smells like it. He's pretty chill when he isn't on a case, but makes up for it in stubbornness, particularly about tracking down criminals.
Supernatural Type?: Death doesn't seem to faze him. At all. And sometimes, it seems like he's talking to someone that isn't there, or knows things he'd have no way of knowing.
Public Knowledge: Croix is on the local police force with his half-brother Jack, though Croix is a detective instead of a beat cop. He sometimes disregards the rules "for the greater good," which only works about half the time. The town's divided about trusting him or hating him.

Sin-Eater's Geist: A burning angel, made of car parts and with wings of chrome exhaust pipes, floats just over Jack's shoulder. Croix only calls it Angel in the fondest manner. Most of Angel is rusting or perpetually melting, but the wings leaking sparks and smoke remain perfectly, almost unnaturally, clean. It sounds like a rumbling engine and crunching metal.

Height: 5'11"
Build: Muscular
Apparent Age: 31
Eye Color: Orange
Hair: Brown, long, and straight. Usually has a small braid near his bangs. Also has a thick mustache and beard, also brown.
Appearance: Tends to wear military fatigues and muscle shirts when working, and adds a leather jacket to try and hide oil stains when in public. Ashe has scars all over his body, including over his eye, and his left arm is an obvious prosthetic. He has a faint British accent, and no idea how he acquired it. Almost always seen with either a book or tools on his person.
Supernatural Type?: It's weird that he knows how to use just about any object he picks up, but there's something else to him that makes the skin crawl. There's a darkness underlying his words as if he knows something inevitable, but is unwilling to share.
Public Knowledge: Ashe is the current owner of the Red Baron auto shop, where he happily fixes vehicles for the townsfolk and stays out of any and all politics. When the stacks of books aren't enough to keep him company, Nemo tends to visit, even though zie doesn't actually have a car to repair.

Changeling Mein: Instead of scar tissue, all his wounds are covered in paper mache and inked words. His blood is like ink, and if you look closely, you can see those black veins like shadows under his skin.

Name: Retz Gallows
Played By: Eve
Height: 6'0"
Build: Practically a skeleton.
Apparent Age: 20
Eye Color: Bright green
Hair: Black, about chin-length and styled.
Appearance: Retz's outfits vary, save that he wears thick sweaters and coats to keep out the cold. He seems perpetually ill, and is so pale that his veins are visible through his skin. He seems nervous and always about to fall over, yet somehow gets around.
Supernatural Type?: Bad luck follows this kid like nobody's business. Plus, he has a knack for finding weird things,and only escaping because their luck fails them too.
Public Knowledge: Retz is the younger Gallows child, and has been in and out of the hospital since he was born. He currently works at the salon, having taken his late mother's place, and sometimes plays his violin around town when he's feeling well. Tends to follow his brother, Jarrod, or Cyrus around.

Height: 5'8"
Build: Looks like a stiff wind could blow her over… but don't let that fool you.
Apparent Age: 27
Eye Color: Only one eye is visible, the other covered by a dark blue cloth, most assume it's missing. The eye that can be seen looks like a blend of the-light-filtering-through-forest-leaves, and the-sheen-off-a-battle-worn-bronze-dagger. To mortals it looks hazel.
Hair: Jo tends to change her hair color fairly often, but when asked why she's dyed it, she tells people she hasn't. Recently it's been differing shades of blonde.
Appearance: She tends to dress in clothing that is functional, and could stand up to the wear and tear of fairly regular fights. Beneath her clothing her body is teased with the memories of battles gone, but not lost.
Supernatural Type?:  Jo seems to move with the grace of a movie martial artist during bar brawls, and is seldom ever hit. It's all most if she knows when a blow is coming, before it's ever thrown...
Public Knowledge: The town folk aren't quite sure what Jo does during the day, but at night she can usually be found at The Edge of Glory enjoying a few cold beers, and hustling, I mean, playing pool and poker. Nemo has been known to leave Jo in charge of the bar, trusting Jo to know when it's time to throw people out before she starts knocking heads. Not much is known about her past.

Changeling Mein: Changelings know that Jo works at the local Goblin market selling weapons, and services. Her hair color is “naturally” missing, but she tends to mimic customers’ hair color as part of her fees. Her ears are slightly tapered at the points, not Falk long, but still noticeable if they aren't being consciously covered by her hair. With her hair hiding her ears she could likely pass as a mortal even without her mask, albeit one that looks like a stiff wind could blow her over…

Name: Nathanial Brooks

Height: Roughly 6', people tend to disagree on the exact height
Build: Like he should be made into a classical sculpture
Apparent Age: Mid-thirties
Eye Color: Again people tend to disagree on the exact color of them, seeming to only agree on the fact they are dark, and promise you the world with but a single glance.
Hair: Bet you didn't expect people to describe this well either... well you'd be right, it often is describe in varying shades of brown, from melted butterscotch, to chestnut, to mahogany, to nearly black.
Appearance: Although his features are hard to pin down, all who meet him can agree that he was attractive and left a charming impression. Nathanial tends to dress in fine suits (often three-piece), button downs, or cashmere sweaters. Atop his head usually sits a classy fedora canted ever so slightly to the left.
Supernatural Type?: Even the people that interact with Nathanial regularly have issues describing him to others. It's not even that he has one of those faces that blends into a crowd. People just can't pin him down.
Public Knowledge: Nathanial recently moved to town, and has set up a small studio doing gorgeous commissions for the locals. Throughout the studio there are near perfect reproductions of famous paintings that Nathanial claims he did because he got bored. Some evenings he can be found at the Dionysus Winery enjoying a fine vintage.
