The Map of Byshom The_ma10

1) City Hall and the Police Station are right next to each other, and are located in the northern half of Main Street. The police are located so they can protect the mayor and other staff first in case of emergency--but it's such a small town, they can get anywhere quickly enough.

2) One of the main attractions of the town--at least among the self-proclaimed socialites and the middle-to-higher class alcoholics--is the Dionysus Winery. Though most of the staff and visitors are human, those with the know-how can enter into the local Spring Court from the basement.

3) The only widely-known entrance into Winter Court is located near the local middle school on Drede Street. Lifting the manhole will normally grant access to the one nuclear bunker in the whole town, but with the right knock and the day's password, it leads to Winter Court instead.

4) If one drives up into the mountains far enough to reach the abandoned mines, it's possible to access the caves leading to Summer Court. The only mortals ever up here are tourists, campers on the way, and townsfolk celebrating history during the yearly mining festival.

5) Pretty much everything in the town can be found along Main Street, which runs parallel to the river. The northern half has most of the stores, many of which are run by Changelings (namely the tailor shop, art shop, the "Edge of Glory" bar, and the car repair shop). The southern half leads to dining, grocery stores, and the hospital right where Main Street reaches the residential district.

6) Though housing is everywhere--even along the rivers and lakes--most of the town's population lives here. This includes actual houses, apartments, an inn or two, and even some trailer parks. This includes the Gallows household, where the Mages usually have their meetings.

7) If one manages to stray off the roads or out of the campsites, it's quite easy to get lost in the forests that blanket the mountains. Especially if one steps in the wrong mushroom ring, accidentally stumbling into Autumn Court instead--and they so "love" visitors...
