And Now, the Weather...
It is September 22nd, 2013. It is fast approaching midnight.
The air is crisp, and the sky is dark with clouds; not even the moon, just starting to wane, can be seen. It has not rained yet, but the smell of a storm hangs in the air. It's cool enough that wearing at least a light jacket is a good plan.

Re: And Now, the Weather...
It is September 23rd, and the first full day of Autumn's reign.
Today, the clouds cover the sky in mottled grays. They seem so close and heavy, you could almost touch them, if only you could reach a little higher...
It sprinkled during the night, so it was damp and foggy in the morning. Their traces are gone now, but the air is still chill. You smell rain--not that anyone is bothered by this. You have yet to see umbrellas, not that anyone in town uses them.

Re: And Now, the Weather...
These are the days from September 23rd to October 15th.
There are years when an “indian summer” settles in, and the heat of Summer lasts well past its reign. This does not hold true for these first few weeks of Autumn. The clouds shuffle through many formations of gray, though the rain never progresses past a light drizzle. No one bothers with umbrellas. To make up for the lack of rain, there is plenty of wind, cold and dry against the skin when it blows. The leaves of trees are falling, their vibrant colors fading to brown faster than they should.
A few townsfolk take this as an omen, claiming that the storms are waiting for Winter, but everyone else says it is too early to be sure.
